    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1472">lorax1284</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5861<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10 January 2007 at 2:07am<br /><br />FWIW, I took the following steps and was able to "patch" SyntaxEdit so my app would compile:<br><br>    I searched for all occurrences of the string<br><br><font size="2">XTP_EDIT_LINECOL<br><br>in all files in the following folder on my file system:<br><br>C:\Program Files\Codejock Software\MFC\Xtreme ToolkitProv10.4\Source\SyntaxEdit<br><br>and in all of the 10 files that contained that string, I replaced alloccurrences of<br><br>_MIN<br>_MAX<br><br>with<br><br>_cjMIN<br>_cjMAX<br><br>respectively.<br><br>I only replaced occurrences that came immediately after a spacecharacter or two consecutive colons ::<br><br>I didn't replace any that were part of other strings, like "INT_MAX" or"INT_MIN".<br><br>I then ran the CodeJock Deployment Wizard:<br>did "Compile the selected libraries"<br>did "Deploy using" and only checked "Visual C++ Version 7.1" (I alsohave 8.0 installed)<br>only chose "as a static library for applications using MFC as a library"<br>did both "ANSI" and "Unicode", and "Win32" (not Win64)<br><br>Your mileage may vary: we determined that _MAX and _MIN were used in one of the MSVC DLLs, and that was causing a conflict.<br><br>Good luck.<br></font>]]>
