I could not find an appropriate place to ask this, so I figured the "General Discussion" would be best.

Does anyone have any experience creating help files and are there any recommended methods for creating help documentation?  I like the SymbolReference.chm that comes with Xtreeme Toolkit Pro... what program is used to create this?  Any help or personal experiences would be very helpful.
