If you have 2 columns in SortOrder collection, it will appear on 2 column headers.

To remove it remove sort order and group order at all:

    wndReportControl.GroupsOrder.DeleteAll
    wndReportControl.SortOrder.DeleteAll

It appears on the sorted column.

How does one remove the chevron from a column?
 
Why does it appear on only one column?
 
I'm using v9.81.
