Hello Oleg,
 
I tried this in VB and the arabic is correclty displayed.
But I can't egt the same result from Powerbuilder, I did change the ribbon paint manager, tab paint manager and the ribbon opotions.
 
Note: i am not using the unicode version !!

Where did you get this number??, because I need to get the correct CharSet to display Arabic text in command bar

    TabWrite.RibbonBar.TabPaintManager.Font.Name = "MS UI Gothic"
    TabWrite.RibbonBar.TabPaintManager.Font.Size = 9
    TabWrite.RibbonBar.TabPaintManager.Font.Charset = 128

I use RibbonBar of ActiveX edition. (CommandBars Control Ver.10.3.1)
I must change a font to let a ribbon bar display words of 2 bytes cord.
I was able to change the letter displayed by the lower part of my RibbonBar bar by below description.

    RibbonBar.RibbonPaintManager.CaptionFont.Name = "MS UI Gothic"
    RibbonBar.RibbonPaintManager.CaptionFont.Size = 9

However, I was able to change the letter displayed by a tab of the upper part of a ribbon bar.
But because it is not displayed by a garbage definitely, I cannot read.

    Set TabWrite = RibbonBar.InsertTab(0, "こんにちは")
    TabWrite.Id = ID_TAB_WRITE
    TabWrite.RibbonBar.RibbonPaintManager.CaptionFont.Name = "MS UI Gothic"
    TabWrite.RibbonBar.RibbonPaintManager.CaptionFont.Size = 9

Please teach it.
