1. However i cant get the 'new' position of the item within the drop structure. It only gives me the original position and not the new position/index ... how can I achieve this?

I am replacing my use of the CListView with the CXTPReportView and most things have been nice and easy (much easier with the use of rows and records).
 
However....
1. I am having an issue with drag and drop ... how am I able to receive a notification that a drag operation has ended and not cancelled?
 
2. Also, I hope to use the tree facilities to improve what i have currently, but I understand that i cant drag and drop child items, is that right, or can i not drag/drop childs between parents?
 
If so, are there any plans to add this facility?
