Your sample source code 'LeeRibbon.zip' is NOT for VC++ 6.0.

Could you kindly upload a sample for MFC?

 

I would like to build a MFC program decorated by the ribbon bar which

contains custom controls.

Here simple solution:

Check in Samples\Ribbon\RibbonSample  folder.

 

This assert means that also you need to add ribbon bitmap resources to your rc2 file.

If you use 10.3.1 version, add

 

in res\xxx.rc2 file line:

 

#include "Ribbon\Styles\Office2007Blue\Office2007Blue.rc"
