Thanks Serge.
Several implementations of multiple-column tree control (see codeguru, codejock) indicate the demand for such control but most of them are not robust.
Adjusting the report control to fully support it may help a lot.

3. Yes, look also into a regular Report Control Sample, Tree View dialog.

Hi, I would like to use the report control as tree control with multiple columns (see http://www.codeguru.com/cpp/controls/treeview/multiview/article.php/c3985/ as an example).

Few issues I am trying to understand:
1. The selection of an item is full row selection - can I make that only the text of the item will be selected?
2. Does the report control support drag and drop of values into one of it fields (I don't mean d&d of columns)?
3. Can I adjust icons to the indented field (like icon of a tree item)?
