    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=776">rjgraham</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5239<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 06 October 2006 at 11:31am<br /><br />Is it possible to link staically when using XTPSkinManager to set skins for an application?<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>If so, how?</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I suspect the answer is no, but here's my story.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I have an app that uses an office 2003 theme that&nbsp;statically linked ok. </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I then applied the WinXP.Royale style using XTPSkinManager() and got a successful build.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>After this my XTCheckListBox'es no longer displayed properly, due to bitmaps not being found in .rc files. </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I proceeded to add XTToolkitPro.rc to my .rc2 file as per the faq and then started getting compile errors because the compiler could not find various.rc files, even though my include paths were all set correctly. </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>After fiddling with include paths for a while, I changed my build settings to dynamically link mfc and everything worked.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>-Randy</DIV>]]>
