Thanks Oleg, I found the code that you spoke of.  Unfortunately, it isn't quite going to work for what I am trying to do.
 
Is there a way to make clicking on a tab NOT change to that tab?  i.e. ignore the tab selection from the mouse?
 
I have retrofitted a tabbed control with a next/previous button setup to control switching the tabs, and now I'd like to use the tabs only as labels.  A bit unconventional, I know, but there it is :)

I see that the CXTTabCtrl sends the TCN_SELCHANGE message when a tab has changed, but what I really need is notification that it's about to change, before the screen gets repainted.  the TCN_SELCHANGING message should solve my problem, but I don't see it in the class.  Am I correct that the TCN_SELCHANGING message has not been implemented in CXTTabCtrl?  If so, is there a workaround?  When might we see it implemented?
