I update my data at regular intervals and then populate report control and restore expanded/collapsed state of grouprows in a way described here:

Unfortunatelly, after every refresh, vertical scrollbar apears for a short time: it is visible from the end of populating till collapsing grouprows.
I cannot use BeginUpdate()/EndUpdate() because in that case restoring collapsed state of grouprows doesn't work properly: m_nLockUpdateCount is non-zero so _RefreshIndexes() doesn't refresh indexes. 
 
I'd like vertical scrollbar not to blink, or to be visible all the time (only disabled if there's not enough data).
 
Could anyone help me solve this problem?
