I want to change the caption on the TabWorkspaceItem when I handle the NewItem Event. However I have potentially different form types that are loaded. There is only however the handle property that is passed to the NewItem event in the TabControlItem that refers to the actual form that is being shown. So I have no way of telling what type of form is actually being shown to get the correct caption.

I would use the caption property but if I set it after the form has been shown then the blue XP caption bar appears in the workspace which obviously isn't right.

Any ideas how I can get the type of form being shown or stop the caption bar from appearing.
