While looking at this I see that I can catch it via XTPWM_PROPERTYGRID_NOTIFY and look for XTP_PGN_DBLCLICK.

Can I get a notification when the user double-clicks on an item's caption?

I'm using this control for the user to define text strings and also (via double-click) auto-select a string and have it sent somewhere.
