    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=2017">ioquan</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4227<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16 May 2006 at 8:45pm<br /><br /><P>Hello, I am currently using the evaluation version of the Pro toolkit, and&nbsp;my company is&nbsp;considering purchasing it.&nbsp;&nbsp;There's one thing I want to know, which I haven't found in any of the documentation or on the forum...</P><P>When the user drags a control bar around, it always retains the docked shape and size.&nbsp; This is different from almost every windows application that supports docking control bars.&nbsp; What I would like is for the control bar to retain the last size that it was _before_ being docked, or some default size for control bars that are automatically docked the first time you run the program.&nbsp; For examples of what I am talking about, try dragging a&nbsp;window in VS .NET 2003 and place it so it is floating.&nbsp; Resize the window, then drag it back to a docked position.&nbsp; Then, drag it again so it is floating.&nbsp; Notice that while the window is floating or being dragged, it always retains the size that it was in its last floating state, NOT the size that it was in its last docked state.&nbsp; </P><P>Is there a way to get the Extreme toolkit to behave this way when draggin and floating windows?</P><P>&nbsp;</P>]]>
