Author: Gendo
Subject: 4065
Posted: 26 April 2006 at 12:00pm

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on Automated Testing Tools that work with the Xtreme ToolkitPro. I have tried Rational Visual Test (which does not work at all) and AutomatedQA's TestComplete (works better can get the handle of the toolbar but requires coordinates for button presses) with varying degrees of success. I am looking for a tool that would be able to manipulate the Toolbar buttons based off of button id or some other method as to get a return that the button press actually succeeded since pressing by coordinates can introduce a lot of different issues. If anyone has any suggestions or success/failure stories I would appreciate it. Thanks.
