However, it looks like for your particular case the job could be donein an existing way: you subscribe for XTP_NC_DATEPICKERSELECTIONCHANGEDevent from the date picker, and then change a selection to a whole weekor anything else.

I need to change CXTPDatePickerControl to prevent a single date from being selected. I want to only select an entire week. To do this I need CXTPDatePickerControl::Select and CXTPDatePickerControl::Deselect to be virtual. Can these methods be virtual?
