When trying to build the VB 6 Visual Studio sample the VB 6 IDE will crash. This problem is only happening when trying to build the project on a Windows 2000 SP 4 Terminal Server. I am connected to the Terminal Server via a remote desktop connection.

Further investigation shows that the problem happens when an image is added to an ImageManager control. At first I thought the problem might be becuase the images in the ImageManager control are 24 bit and the remote desktop connection (RDP 5.0) only supports 256 colors, however, after converting the images to 256 and then 16 colors the problem persisted.

Has anyone else seen this problem?
