I've come across a situation where the Execute event does not fire when selecting a Popup CommandBarControl. I have created a popup CommandBar with several CommandBarControl choices. After calling .ShowPopup the CommandBarControls appear. I select an option and no CommandBar Execute event fires. I have another CommandBar control which is not a Popup and it works fine.

Under what circumstances does the Execute event NOT fire?

I have created a very small program that illustrates this issue reliably.
