Author: JamesC
Subject: 356
Posted: 14 January 2004 at 7:12pm

I am still new to the toolkit and I am not sure if there is a demo for this to explain how to do it. I am wondering how you can save the layout of the toolbars in the same sort of way that you save the layout of the panes using CXTPDockingPaneLayout. There is the ability to savetofile in the pane layout. Our users would like to have different panelayouts in each CMDIChildWnd but also have different Toolbar layouts also. For instance, in one layout Toolbar A has 3 icons, but in another layout Toolbar B may have 5 icons and it is placed in another location. Is there a way to do this. Also Does anyone know how to save the toolbar layout to a file and not the registry or Win.INI. I would like to specify what file it is saved to, like you can with the panelayout. Thanks in advance.
