I have added your requests to our bug tracking database as a feature request.  We will try to get this incorporated into an upcoming release.  Thank you for your suggestions.

It would be cool to add a dialog xt wizard that implements CXTTrayIcon (and more!) , overriding WM_SYSCOMMAND and OnOk to call this->ShowWindow(SW_HIDE); and WM_LBUTTONDBLCLK to show the window.

 

Also can you reduce the duration of the splash screen when starting VS ?  Its still visible when I try to start working.
