Say, in Verina 1.0 of my program, it has 10 menu items. In 1.1, I add a new menu item, then is 11 menu items. But for the users who has customized menu bar will not be able to see my new menu item, until they 'reset' their customization data ( very few users will aware this and reset the data. ).

I think the problem is that Xtp does not know if the new menu item is 'removed' by user or just a 'new item'. Because in either way, it does not in the UI config data.

I propose this way. Instead of remove the deleted item from config data, but mark it as 'removed'. Then when new item comes, xtp will know it's a new item and display it.

Any comments?

Best

Jeff
