How can I tell which pane the mouse is currently over?  Before using panes when we had an MDI setup I used a call to the Windows API function ChildWindowFromPoint and then searched through our list of windows to find the matching hwnd.  I've tried something similar with the docking panes but the hwnd returned doesn't match and is sometimes a closed pane, basically it doesn't work.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
