In 9.80 was added virtual
void CXTPControlComboBox::DrawEditText(CDC* pDC, CRect rcText)

that can be overriden.

I have created an owner draw combo control in my toolbar following the example in the CustomThemes sample program. However, I also need to have the part in the combo's edit control be owner drawn as well (it doesn't have to be editable). Does anyone have any sample code that does this, or can you point me toward a solution or even tell me if it's possible?
