Hi!

XTP 9.70

we created an MFC regular DLL whch is loaded by an old MFC-app (4.0)
we dont have access to the source of this app, just an DLL-interface.
our regular DLL uses XTP and loads MFC extension DLLs which also use XTP.
one of the extension DLLs uses a CXTHtmlView class which is used within a
docking pane. I add/create it using AttachView().

when I shutdown the app, it takes about 1 minute till the CXTHtmlView object
gets detstroyed. this effect doesnt occur when we load our DLLs from within an
new MFC app, built with VC++.NET, everything shuts down fine.

I found an article regarding docking-panes which dont get updatedbecause of the missing WM_IDLEUPDATECMDUI message. we had exact thesame problem and I was able to fix it with the information form thisforum.

maybe the problem with the CXTHtnlView is also related to the fact,that some message is missing,  are there any specific messagesthis control relies upon shutdown ?

any help with this would be greatly appreciated,
