I've been looking at several Codejock samples that feature embeddedCaption bars and/or embedded Toolbars in a View-type class.  There seem to be several waysto implement this, but the newest sample, DockingContainers, usesseveral View-type classes.  But, these View-type classes don'tinherit off of CView, but off of a class named CPaneView, which isapparently a roll-your-on CView-type class derived directly from CWnd.

My question:  is this Codejock's architectural recommendation, to do fancy Views this way?  Is there some good reason not to inherit off of CView?
