big thanks to Oleg. He gave me the answer:-) This feature is already implemented in v9.80:

        pItem = pMetrics->AddChildItem(new CXTPPropertyGridItem(_T(""), _T("Just one line")));
        pItem->SetMultiLinesCount(3);
        pItem->SetCaption(_T("Line1\r\nLine2\r\nLine3"));
        pItem->GetCaptionMetrics()->m_uDrawTextFormat = DT_WORDBREAK; // 16

is there a way to display multiline text values not only in the valuefield but also in the name field (aka the left column) of theproperty-grid?
