I'm afraid that won't work in my case. The Panemanager doesn't fire theAction event, because in our software the Panes aren't changed(Moved/Undocked, etc)

It would be a nice feature for future versions, something like:

Set p = DockingPaneManager.FindPane(ID_TESTPANE)
If Not p Is Nothing Then
    p.Enabled = false
End If
