we bought Codejock to dismiss older suites, now i speak about APEX TrueDBGrid.

with APEX TrueDBGrid we can create a grid at Design Time binding it to a Data Source (ADODataControl or ADO Recordset); we use to do:

At design time:

1) in a form create and populate a Data Source + empty TDBGrid

2) Set TDBGrid.DataSource = MyDataSource

3) RightMouse to the control and choose command 'Retrieve Filelds' --> Will set all Column Name and DataType <-- This is the fantastic tool we use and need

4) Copy the Grid and Paste in the form we need

we have to change more than one hundred Grid, if can create Codejock Grid that way we can save weeks of work.
