take a look at the Tabmanger sample. i use the ctrl in many parts of my apps, and have not run into any problems

also, i'm not sure if i'm reading your Q correctly, but if you want the pane to "hide" to the bottom of the screen, use xtpPaneDockBottom:

as

Currently, when I minimize the docking panes, they minimize on the sideof the screen... I would like to have it so the tabs for each paneappear at the bottom of the window as opposed to on the side, A pictureis provided on this site of what I am trying to do:

If you notice the properites and options tabs are located at the bottom, whereas mine go off to the right side of the screen.

I have not been able to find any documentation or entries on the forumthat address this issue, and I am assuming it's an easy fix.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as always.
