    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8199">astoyan</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 23592<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 01 March 2018 at 9:36pm<br /><br /><div>Hi Everyone!</div><div><br></div><div>Many users have recently reported issues with downloading installation packages from Product Downloads page using Firefox.&nbsp;</div><div>The symptoms:</div><div>&nbsp;- Downloading starts</div><div>&nbsp;- The downloading progress bar gradually reaches the end</div><div>&nbsp;- Download status changes to Failed</div><div><img src="uploads/8199/firefox-download-failed.png" height="172" width="803" border="0" /><br></div><div>&nbsp;- A .part file gets created in the target download location, e.g. Codejock.ReportControl.ActiveX.18.3.0.zip.part</div><div><br></div><div>In some case .part file can be renamed to .zip and it will open, but in most our tests the downloaded .part file was broken or incomplete.</div><div><br></div><div>The issue has been investigated but no issues with the servers or SSL were discovered.</div><div>Firefox debugger reports all data downloaded successfully and no error detect, but still it's not able to save the final file with no obvious reason.</div><div>Taking into account the observed behavior and a large number of similar issues reported by the Firefox community we came to conclusion there is a bug in Firefox and we can only hope it will be fixed soon.</div><div><br></div><div>If you use Firefox and experience the described above symptoms, please use any other browser for product downloading.</div><div>Even if you don't have any other browser installed, Internet Explorer will always be present in your operating system, Windows 10 users can also use Edge.</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you.</div>]]>
