Hi,

In the current version 16.4.0

If you try to paste a text over a selection, if the selection is ordered from left to right (current position at the end of the selection), the text is pasted at a wrong place (without considering the removed text from the selection).

If the selection is made from right to left (current position at the beginning of the selection), the paste will be done correctly.
