Calendar control 13 / VB6

I can enter a value in a field CUSTOMPROPERTIES from calendar control that uses a database in access >> in a string sql, necessary to filter only the records desired to be included in activereport? 

eg. Event.CustomProperties.Property (propName) 
I'd like the syntax to add in a sql string this field result only 

select * from Events WHERE Event.CustomProperties.Property (propName)  = "Mario")

i tried many but nothing .... i can only looping  from all events, but i think the best is filter ..
