    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8318">brianleahy</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 22280<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23 April 2014 at 5:36pm<br /><br />Well, I found this notation lurking in the help files:<div><br></div><div><h4 ="dxh4"><font color="#3333ff">Remarks</font></h4><h4 ="dxh4"><font color="#3333ff"><span style="font-weight: normal; line-height: 1.4;">The </span><str&#111;ng style="line-height: 1.4;">StartTime</strong><span style="font-weight: normal; line-height: 1.4;"> property holds the starting date and time of the event.</span></font></h4><p><font color="#3333ff">Important:  Do <strong>NOT</strong> set the <strong>StartTime</strong> or <a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">EndTime</a> for a <a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Master event</a>.  These times are calculated internally and should not be changed.  An event becomes a Master event when the <a href="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">CreateRecurrence</a> method is used on the event.</font></p><p><br></p><p>So - it's sounding like, once those attributes are set, there's no changing the event to a repeating event.</p></div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8318">brianleahy</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 22280<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 21 April 2014 at 4:26pm<br /><br />I'm using powerbuilder, and trying to add recurrence.<div>&nbsp;</div><div>I've observed the following:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>First, when I call event.CreateRecurrence() on an existing event, the event's starttime <strong>immediately </strong>gets changed to 12/30/1899 00:00:00.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>So <strong>then</strong>, I set the recurrence's startdate and starttime <em>BOTH </em>to (for instance):&nbsp; 4/16/2014 03:30:00</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Then I call event.UpdateRecurrence(recurrence).&nbsp; </div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Now the event's starttime changes to:&nbsp; 4/16/2014 00:00:00</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The time portion is lost, and nothing I do will correct it.&nbsp;&nbsp; On the calendar control, the event jumps to midnight.&nbsp; In fact, it's like the event's starttime becomes read only once the recurrence is set.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>How can I fix this?</div>]]>
