Hello Markr,

The latest 16.4 beta version contains a new fix for the ribbon height and layout, it is still a little bit higher than as it was prior to 16.3.1 because it is necessary for handling different UI fonts and large DPIs, but indeed it's not as large is it was in 16.3.1. Can you please check out the latest beta and see if it works for you?

Looks like ribbon bar control spacing was changed in the v16.3.1 release.

Specifically, there is now more white space above and below ribbon bar label text. This can be seen clearly by comparing the v16.3.0 and v16.3.1 ribbon bar sample applications. The newer release consumes considerably more vertical white space, thus causing the ribbon as a whole to consume much more space in the parent window frame.

These changes make the new release unusable for me, unfortunately.
