    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1">kstowell</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 22276<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17 April 2014 at 1:43pm<br /><br /><div>We have had a few questions about how to compile the library for Windows XP. &nbsp;Follow<span style="line-height: 1.4;">&nbsp;these steps to compile the library for Windows XP using Visual Studio 2012 / 2013:</span></div><div><ol><li><span style="line-height: 1.4;">Run Visual Studio 2012 / 2013.<br><br></span></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.4;">Choose File - Open - Project / Solution<br><br></span></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.4;">Open the library workspace by navigating to the following path (may be different depending on your installation preferences):<br></span><span style="line-height: 1.4;"><br><b>C:\Program Files (x86)\Codejock Software\MFC\Xtreme ToolkitPro v16.3.1\Workspace\ToolkitPro\ToolkitPro_vc120.sln<br></b></span><span style="line-height: 1.4;"><br></span></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.4;">From the Solution Explorer right click on either Codejock.ToolkitPro.Shared or Codejock.ToolkitPro.Static and choose Properties.<br></span><span style="line-height: 1.4;"><br></span></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.4;">At the top of the Property Pages window, select the Configuration: drop down choose multiple and select the configurations you want to target for Windows XP and press OK.<br></span><span style="line-height: 1.4;"><br></span></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.4;">Now in the property tree select Configuration Properties then General.<br></span><span style="line-height: 1.4;"><br></span></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.4;">In the Property Window on the right click on the Platform Toolset drop down and select either "Visual Studio 2013 - Windows XP (v120_xp)" or "Visual Studio 2012 - Windows XP (v110_xp)".<br></span><span style="line-height: 1.4;"><br></span></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.4;">Click Apply and close the Property Page window.<br></span><span style="line-height: 1.4;"><br></span></li><li><span style="line-height: 1.4;">Now you can build the library using Visual Studio interface, or close and run the Deployment Wizard.</span></li></ol></div>]]>
