Sounds like you're wanting someone to do your homework for you here... lol

The Samples provided by Codejock show how to implement a ReportControl and how to add rows of data to it. As for loading the textfiles, do a google search as it's not that hard at all.

I want to link the content of an ASCII text file with a report control and vice versa. The report control is used in a GUI to visualize and manage the content of the text file (add new line, delete line, edit content of line.

The content of the text file looks like this:
Car;Speed;Weight
BMW;100;1600
Audi;120;1550

The report control should look like this:
Car   | Speed | Weight
----------------------------
BMW | 100     | 1600
----------------------------
Audi  | 120     | 1550

The GUI has for example 3 buttons to add / delete / edit a record. After changing a record, the text file should be updated accordingly.

Any suggestions how to implement this (vb code please)?
