I found at least these 5 properties who are reset to its initial state by ResourceImage.LoadFromFile= in 16.2 (15.x was OK)
 
AlternativeBackgroundColor
UseAlternateBackground
Glyphs.AddIcons
VerticalGridStyle
HorizontalGridStyle
 
Why, why not documented, are there others?
