Another problem I found with using the toolkit in an extension dll isthe calling convention method. My project was initially set to__stdcall (/Gz) which caused the error: C2373: 'XTThemeManager' :redifinition...

Make sure the calling convetions is set to __cdecl (/Gz)

Just thought someone may find this useful.

I have a problem with a toolbar in a a dialog. This does not work. Ihave tried it with the examples Advanced and DialogSample. When i copythe source code of the example dialogs into my dialog (the dialog ispart of an dll) then i got always an exception line with functionReposionBars.
The exception is throwed because the PaintManager was not found!

Is there any way to get the toolbar running in an extension dll dialogbox?

I use XT extensively in extension DLLs. The only problem I have come across is with the report control. You must register the report control window's class before you can use it - sorry, I don't have sample code to hand. Email codejock.

Is it possible to create an extension DLL which is used the XtremeToolkit Controls. I must write an extension for outlook and anextension for the explorer. Therefore I have no possibility to change the MainFrame Window.
If it is possible to use the Toolkit in generally, which controls ca i use ?
(e.g. Microsoft Office™ Style Combo Box)
And is it possible to create own context menus with the toolkit?
