    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=6488">ahcs</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 17602<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 25 November 2010 at 9:58am<br /><br />Dear Codejock Team!<br><br>I have a tricky issue with the Command Bars. <br>When i use them actively in my application everything works fine.<br><br>When i however deactivate them in my progress application and hide them (to display a dialog) a Windows System Sound is played and my progress event log shows me the following call:<br><br>&#091;10/11/25@15:19:58.161+0100&#093; P-005964 T-005576 4 4GL PROEVENTS&nbsp; START COM CommandBar.CommandBars.Update&nbsp; Handle:1832 .\xb25otlk.r T<br>&#091;10/11/25@15:19:58.177+0100&#093; P-005964 T-005576 2 4GL PROEVENTS&nbsp; PRGS CommandBar.CommandBars.Update CONTROL-FRAME&nbsp; Handle:1832 discarded widget disabled<br>&#091;10/11/25@15:19:58.177+0100&#093; P-005964 T-005576 2 4GL PROEVENTS&nbsp; PRGS CommandBar.CommandBars.Update FIELD-GROUP&nbsp; Handle:1647 discarded widget disabled<br>&#091;10/11/25@15:19:58.177+0100&#093; P-005964 T-005576 2 4GL PROEVENTS&nbsp; PRGS CommandBar.CommandBars.Update FRAME xb20main_01 Handle:1646 discarded widget disabled<br><br>I suspect that either windows is allergic to the update call of the disabled commandbar or that the commandbar triggers this as response to not being able to call the update?! <br>Is this a known behaviour?<br>Can i prevent the Update Event from being called? This would most likely be enough for my case...<br><br>Thanks in advance!<br><br>PS: Using win7 as development, but this also occurs under XP SP 3<br><br>]]>
