Manually adding certain resources is an option, but too tedious. And I don't believe my request is strange. Consider this:
 
"Controls resources" are added since I'm using CXTBrowseEdit. Then I get a bunch of toolbars, dialogs and stuff that will never be used!
 
ImageEditorIcons32.bmp 17 kB <-- I don't want that stuff :(
 
 
I believe _XTP_NO_BINARY_RESOURCES should be a union of these values:
_XTP_NO_STRING_RESOURCES
_XTP_NO_DIALOG_RESOURCES
etc
 
Because if I know for a fact that I will not instantiate these dialogs, then I don't want them in my exe! Like I said, bloating the resources makes localization a lot harder.

Hi,

Sound strange. when you need only cursor but not bitmaps ?  if you don't use some part of library but only want same cursor for some of your own window, I guess better just copy it to your local res folder.

Please add defines for all types of resources! Sometimes you want the cursors, but not the bitmaps/dialogs and stuff. Each type should have its own define!
 
Translation soon becomes a problem when there are a bunch of never-used dialogs present in the exe (XTP statically linked).
