This might be caused by User Account Control trying to protect you frommessages being sent between processes with different privileges. Thiscan happen if the application you are dragging to is being "Run asAdministrator." Can you chec if standard ListBox works for you - just create new project, drop ListBox and code

List1.OLEDropMode = vbOLEDropManual

seems its some WIndows 7 problems - works for my PC but not for another one.
