No,
You always have to register the OCX to use it.

The difference I think I mean is that VB6 will ask if you want to upgrade to the latest version, where PB you will likely need to delete\re-add the control OR is PB has a project file to modify in a text editor you can change it there.

Is it true with VB6 if you download a new version of the control, you do not need to re-register like you would with powerbuilder
