    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=5875">darrensmith</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16133<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 03 February 2010 at 12:57pm<br /><br /><P>We have an old version of toolkit pro, 9.70.xxx.&nbsp; I've managed to sucessfully upgrade to V13.2 Eval to ensure it is worth the upgrade cost.</P><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>However i'm getting a runtime error in visual studio 2010 B2 that doesn't occur in 2008 (using the same code base)&nbsp;and was wondering if the standard build addresses it, if its a known issue or whether we will need to wait for version 14 for a fix.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>The error reads:</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Debug Assertion failed:</DIV><DIV>f:\dd\dctools\vc7libs\ship\atlmfc\include\afxwin1.inl</DIV><DIV>line 21</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>This is checking the afx state and finding null.&nbsp; This error also occurs when converting any of the samples supplied with the eval.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.&nbsp; (It would also be handy to know if simply buying the full version and building it under VS2010 B2 resolves it?)</DIV>]]>
