Author: EricFowler
Subject: 15873
Posted: 16 December 2009 at 4:02pm

I have a CXTPFrameWindow-derived class that owns a CXTPSplitterWnd which is controlling a CXTPTaskPanel.

The task panel lives on the left of the split.

Now I am asked to display a bitmap on the same side as the task panel.

One option is to move the task panel and draw it on the main frame window or it's view. But the splitter wants to size that panel and I am tired of fighting it.

The other option is to draw it in the task panel itself, but I don't want to have to draw the entire task panel client area.

How can I do this most easily?

Thank you very much.

Eric
