Author: robin_l
Subject: 15551
Posted: 04 November 2009 at 6:39pm

The various classes to carry out toolbar customization (CXTPCustomizeSheet, CXTPRibbonCustomizeQuickAccessPage, CXTPCustomizeOptionsPage, CXTPCustomizeCommandsPage) are all derived from fixed-sized property pages/sheets (CPropertySheet and CPropertyPage). Unfortunately this results in dialog boxes are are rather crowded, especially if the font size is enlarged (eg, see below).

It would be far more useful if these classes were derived from CXTResizePropertySheet and CXTResizePropertyPage (and the necessary SetResize() calls included) so that the customize dialog could be made a more suitable size if desired. It is not possible to do this at present without rewriting the various classes.

Would you consider modifying things so that the dialogs were resizable? I'm sure it would be a useful (and relatively easy) modification.
