Ok, what about the report control then (I mentioned the pane just to get a complete answer :P)?
I'm sure I got weird behavior when I upgraded to 13.2 from 13.1.

Does XTP handle this properly? Every time I upgrade my stored states of report controls and panes are screwed, and I must manually clear the stored value.
 
In an ideal world, XTP code would take care of versioning. What am I missing here?
