I have put a mask edit in the toolbar.  ( it is a customized mask edit, but it is working correctly when it is on a form,...)
lets say the mask edit is like this (___.____.___)

when I type something for example for the first part (2009.___.___)   and then I lose focus - say click somewhere else- and then return back to my control to continue typing, it is Not getting my keyboard events at all ...

so my guess is that it is sending them to the toolbar

Any thought on any resolution?

P.S1: I am using these on VB 6.0

P.S 2: Adding to toolbar is required to be done at run time not design time
