I found out that the shortcuts are stored in binary format in the registry at "...\Layout\Accelerators". I use my own tooltips and like to show with them the shortcut keys which are assigned to the controls.

How can I retrieve the assigned shortcut key for a control? If no property exists, is it possible to extract the shortcut keys from the registry?
