Sure, but why does this not happen for normal MessageBoxes? If I remove my DoMessageBox function, it works.

You set parent to hidden window. so don't do it

XTP 13.0, VS 2008 SP1, XP SP3 (32-bit).
 
Build and run attached sample. An ASSERT() will pinpoint the problem. After the call to DoModal() the application hangs!
