If you would assign value like this:  rec.AddItem(CDate("15-4-2009"))
 
I don't know what language you use... but somekind of Date type should not be a problem...

Dear friends,

We have a problem when passing data type date. The programmingenvironment in which we work is not Visual Basic. Therefore, it is not100% compatible with the data types of Visual Basic.

Theproblem is the compatibility with the Variant type. When passing datato the Report Control, interprets it as text and not as a date. We knowthis because the cell formatting, or does not interpret the format.

The question is: Is it possible after passing the data as text, change the data type to date?
