You can pass desired format to ReportRecordItem e.g. "My item text = %s today" and it will executed. Hi,
 
You could use BeforeDrawRow event only for displaying this kind of format without actually changing ReportItem caption.

I have a ReportRecordItem  with a 9 digit string with a value  ="239985000".
 
Is it possible to have the ReportControl display this as "239985/000"?
